In some recent arson cases in Tulsa, it's been difficult to find a suspect, but not in this one.
When firefighters arrived on the scene of a housefire near Admiral and Lewis in Tulsa on Sunday, a police report says they found 40-year-old Mark Paul Prestage bleeding from the neck and saying, "I did it. I set the fire."
Police say they found a red gas can inside the house in the living room.
And an arson dog sniffed out several spots in the house where they say a flammable liquid was present.
Prestage was booked on complaints of first-degree arson, as well as lack of car insurance and driving with a suspended license.
