Man arrested after threatening to tie Nancy Grace "naked to a tree"

David Lee Simpson tweeted threats aimed at TV newscasters Nancy Grace and Jane Velez-Mitchell.

The messages says Simpson will tie the woman to a "tree naked and leave them to suffer all night" and then "slit their throats."

He didn’t stop there saying he would hang one of the women upside down and "gut her like a deer."

Cops say Simpson is obsessed with Jodi Arias and was unhappy with the way the two covered her murder trial.

Police think Simpson was headed to Arizona when he was arrested after a routine traffic stop found zip ties, ammunition, guns, handcuffs, binoculars, and newspaper clippings about mass shootings and bestiality.

Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio told The Daily Dot "this suspect was on his way south with enough weapons in his car to do serious harm to someone."

Simpson will be charged with computer tampering and stalking.
