Man accused of hurting woman with a dog bone

A man is accused of hitting a woman with a large dog bone Saturday morning.

Tulsa police say Michael Gordon Jr. was arrested near 17th and 129th for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.  The suspect was taken into custody around 9:40 a.m.

Police say the victim told them he grabbed the bone and threw it at her.  He's also accused of pushing her to the ground, grabbing her hair and punching her in the face.

The victim was transported to an area hospital where she could have a broken arm from being hit by the dog bone.

This isn't the first time Gordon Jr. has been accused of assault and battery.  Court records show he has a preliminary hearing set for August 1 on a assault and battery charge.
