Male cop dresses as Amish woman to catch sexual predator

The sting was set up to catch a sexual predator that was exposing himself, sometimes to children.

So Sgt. Chad Adams dressed up like an Amish woman and walked up and down the street for two months, with no results.

The Pulaski Township Police Department believes the only reason Adams didn’t make an arrest is because the bad guy was caught in a different county.

On the department's Facebook page, Adams explained, "we will use all means available to try and protect our children."

“That includes dressing up as an Amish woman to attempt to apprehend a pervert,” he finished.

The New York Daily News reports Adams made sure to clear his actions with leaders in the Amish community to make sure they were not offended.

Not only did they support the plan; they provided the clothes he wore during the operation.
