People come from all over the country to help out the tornado-ravaged areas of Oklahoma City and Moore, and almost without fail they find themselves drawn to the site where the Plaza Towers School once stood.
Seven young children died there in the May 20, 2013 EF5 tornado.
Quiet, respectful, many brush away tears and leave their own momento or tribute behind.
The shrine has grown up along the fenceline surrounding the school grounds.
The city plans to build a new school there, utilizing plans that had been drawn to build another new facility elsewhere.
They hope to have it open by August, 2014, in time for the 2014-15 school year.
