3.2 magnitude earthquake strikes near Ardmore

Residents of Lone Grove, near Ardmore, may have been rattled awake by the quake that hit just after 6:30 a.m.

This is the third earthquake to strike in Oklahoma in the last three days.

Another quake hit in Boley, about 45 miles southwest of Okmulgee, on Sunday.

That quake was much smaller, just a 2.7 magnitude and struck around 3 p.m.

The first quake of the weekend happened Friday near Cushing.

This one was a 2.9 magnitude that hit at 11:30 p.m.

Most earthquakes less than 3.0 magnitude cannot be felt by humans.

None of the earthquakes in recent days caused any damage.
