Lynn Lane to be narrowed in Broken Arrow

The City of Broken Arrow says Lynn Lane (9th Street) will be narrowed to one lane in each direction south of Albany (61st Street) starting next week.

The narrowing will start on Tuesday, June 17th. According to the city the project is only expected to take three or four days. Traffic will only be affected between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. each day.

Also, a 'No Left Turn' sign will be posted for northbound traffic on 9th Street, which means drivers will not be allowed to make a left turn onto westbound Albany during those hours.

Voters approved the widening of 9th Street to five lanes from the Broken Arrow Expressway to Albany as part of the 2011 General Obligation Bond program. The entire project is expected to be completed in the fall of this year.
