Tulsa police are investigating a homicide that was first reported as a shots fired call near 51st and South Memorial. Emergency crews found the victim on the parking lot at the Beckett Ridge Apartments near 7800 East 49th Street about 11:36 p.m. Tuesday. The victim was taken to the hospital where he died. Tulsa Police Corporal R.W. Solomon tells us the victim was a locksmith who had responded to a service call to unlock a car at the apartment complex. But after the victim had unlocked the car, the customer refused to pay. The customer then went inside an apartment and returned with two other men. That's when an argument started and one of the suspects pointed a gun at the victim and shot him. We're told all three suspects left the scene. Solomon says officers located a person of interest who was being interviewed by police, but two other black males are being sought by officers. The getaway car was described as a silver color, four door Chrysler automobile that left the scene right after the shooting. The victim's name has not been released.
