Showhomes rents out luxury homes that are for sale, because research shows homes don't sell for as much if they're empty-looking.

But the catch is, you have to keep the home perfectly clean at all times and have to let realtors show the house whenever they want.

And of course, when it sells, you have to move right away, even if you've only been there a few days.

They say some renters though have stayed for as long as 18 months.
