KRMG has insider advice to make your next tailgate top-notch

Football season is here and that means it's time to tailgate.

KRMG enlisted the experts at Cimarron Meat Company at 81st and Harvard for some ways you can take action behind the grill.

Jeff Workman says just about anyone can grill. Workman says, "It's really hard to mess up a hamburger or sausages."

Another thing to keep in mind is the kind of meat you use. Workman says, "100% grass-fed beef will cook a lot faster that grain-fed beef because there's not as much fat."

If you're not sure, Workman says there's no problem in asking questions. His store is happy to help.

As far as charcoal, gas or wood? Workman says its a matter of personal preference.

Workman's biggest piece of advice for all tailgaters? Pay attention. Workman says, "If you're grilling, don't walk away from the grill. Keep your eye on it. Stay with it. If you don't, you're going to burn it."
