KRMG Extreme Weather Alert: Winter Storm Warning begins at 6 p.m.

We have a KRMG Extreme Weather Alert.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning beginning at 6 p.m. tonight and will go through Midnight Sunday night.

Up to one quarter inch of freezing rain and up to one inch of sleet is expected in our area.  NWS say precipitation may change to snow or flurries Sunday night.

The high for Saturday is expected to be near 49 degrees, before dropping to 19 degrees in the evening.

NWS say temps will remain low for Sunday.  The high is expected to be near 14 degrees, with a low of just seven degrees.
