KRMG Extreme Weather Alert: Freezing temperatures possible north, west of Tulsa

A Freeze Warning is in effect for the areas around Tulsa to the north and west.

News On 6 Chief Meteorologist Travis Meyer tells us it probably won't freeze in the City of Tulsa early Friday as lows will be in the mid-30's, but areas especially northwest of Tulsa will have temperatures dropping down to 29 to 32 degrees, so for some gardeners not a good overnight or early morning time period here.

Expect sunshine and quiet weather and about 60 degrees for our afternoon high on Friday.

The temperature will get up to the lower 70's with partly cloudy skies as we look on into Saturday and Sunday.

The next chance for storms will be coming in by Monday.
