KRMG Extreme Weather Alert: Freeze Watch in effect

Tulsa should stay above freezing early Thursday, but that forecast may not hold for some other counties in northeast Oklahoma.

Meteorologist David Jankowski works at the National Weather Service Office in Tulsa.

He says, "There is a Freeze Watch that is in effect from late tonight through tomorrow morning for portions of northeast Oklahoma where we could see some temperatures drop below freezing."

We're told that Pawnee, Washington, Osage, Craig, Nowata, Creek, Ottawa, Delaware and Adair counties have a Freeze Watch that is in effect from late tonight until tomorrow morning.
Jankowski says that right now, Tulsa County does not have a Frost Advisory, but that will be something that remains a possibility.
