Tulsa is under an Excessive Heat Warning today.
Brad McGavock at the Natonal Weather Service tells us the humidity will drive the Heat Index to about 105 degrees.
We should expect "really hot humid afternoons and then overnight low temperatures just don't cool off very much to give folks any relief," McGavock said.
We're told the so-called Heat Island Effect will be kicking in, where the only cooler spots with be outside the urban areas where the overnight lows could be under 75 degrees.
