If you get a letter that LOOKS like it's from the U.S. Postal Service, KRMG's Clark Howard says, WATCH OUT.
It might be a company that offers to do your change of address form, for a fee of $15 or $20.
"The funny thing is," Clark says, "you walk into a post office, you can change your address for FREE."
Even doing it online at the Postal Service website only costs one dollar, Clark says.
He says the letters do a good job of looking very official, so look closely, he says, and don't get taken advantage of.
