Tulsa, Okla. - KRMG's Consumer Warrior Clark Howard says these are dark days for cable-TV consumers, with the impending merger of cable giants Comcast and Time Warner.
He says it's a double-whammy of bad reviews.
"Comcast and Time Warner, both in the American Customer Satisfaction Index, rank LOWER than most any other companies ever surveyed, over the last 15 years."
He says the cable industry needs MORE competition, not LESS, but if the merger goes through, the new Comcast and Time Warner 'combo' would be the provider for one of every three homes in the U.S.
It's not a done-deal by any means though.
The Feds still have to approve it, and that's not guaranteed.
