Tulsa, Okla. - You probably won't find it on your calendar anywhere.
But tomorrow marks the start of "Fireworks Selling Season" in Oklahoma.
The three-week period from June 15th to July 5th is set by the state.
Matt Hiller, owner of the Castle of Muskogee, says the first week is always slow, so if you want to beat the rush and avoid the crowds, this weekend is your best bet.
"And that's a good time to come out and shop, because you can have personal service," Hiller said. "And help picking out a show, particular type, noisy, loud, shoot it here... tailor make it for a particular 'whatever'."
He said sales have been slow during the past couple of seasons, probably because of the drought and worries about fire dangers.
"This year with all the rain, I think that people will be ready to shoot some fireworks again."
