TULSA - The death of a Jenks man remains a mystery, as does exactly what happened in that same home which left an 18-month-old baby in a coma.
Jenks Police Chief Cameron Arthur tells KRMG they'll wait on the Medical Examiner's report to determine how Ray Allen Lykins, 48, died.
Family members apparently didn't realize he had passed away Wednesday while lying on a couch in the apartment where he dwelt, along with his stepson, the stepson's girlfriend, their baby and the baby's grandmother.
When police arrived at the home, they found the baby, Kyzen Thompson, unresponsive.
The boy's condition has improved, Chief Arthur tells KRMG.
"The baby's in stable condition, blood gasses have improved, oxygen levels have improved," he said.
The investigation will focus for the time being on what happened to the toddler, the chief added, saying they plan to serve warrants -- including retrieving some electronic communications -- in an attempt to determine a timeline of events.
Charges are possible in the case, he said.
