Inhofe says cold weather this week proves Global Warming is a hoax

Record-breaking cold in Tulsa, ships stuck in the ice near the South Pole.

Oklahoma Senator Jim Inhofe says those are just two things recently that show what he's been saying is true, namely that Global Warming is a hoax.

And Inhofe said on the Senate floor this week that it's time for the White House to stop trying to use Global Warming as a rationale to overregulate the oil and coal industries, saying it's costing jobs in Oklahoma.

"The sad part of this is, we could be completely independent from all other countries, certainly the Middle East, from any other country in terms of supplying our own energy in this country," Inhofe said.

He says all the United States has to do is start increasing drilling on public federal land, as much as drilling has gone up in recent years on private land.
