The National Weather Service in Tulsa has adjusted the timing of the ice storm warning for northeastern Oklahoma Saturday.
The warning is now in effect until 9:00 p.m.
The counties include Osage, Washington, Nowata, Craig, Ottawa, Pawnee, Tulsa, Rogers, Mayes, Delaware, Creek, Okfuskee, Okmulgee, Wagoner and Muskogee.
Meteorologists say freezing rain will be diminishing and ending as the evening ends.
A brief changeover to light snow is possible this evening before the precipitation ends.
Travel will become hazardous Saturday night and could be tricky Sunday morning for families going to church and headed out of town.
