Husband violates protective order, takes young kids

Two young kids are found safe, after being taken by their father Tuesday afternoon, without permission.

Tulsa police say the incident began around 4:25 p.m.

Dennis Mcclellan is accused of going into his estranged wife's home and threatening to kill her if she didn't give him their 1 and 2-year-old children.  His wife told officers he also swung at her.

Mcclellan took off with his kids in his truck.

Police say they were able to catch up with him about an hour later, near East 46th and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.  The children were still in his truck.

He was taken into custody for violating a protective order and for threatening a violent act.
