The mystery behind a missing Bartlesville man ended on a sad note.
Osage County Sheriff's office says the body of 62-year-old Timothy Hauser was found by a hunter on Saturday less than a mile from where he was robbed and assaulted back in August. While investigators are sure of the identification, a DNA test will still be conducted.
The hunter found the body while tracking a deer. The sheriff's office says the body was concealed in heavy vegetation which has been cleared since the summer.
Three people have already been charged. 41-year-old Rusty Boyd Petty and 28-year-old Trysta Shaffer were charged with conjoint robbery. 36-year-old Kathleen Roland was charged with being an accessory after the fact.
Charges may be changed or there may be more added since Hauser was found dead.
