A nice home on the edge of the Tulsa city limits is destroyed by fire.
Neighbors called 911 when smoke and flames were seen coming from the east end of a house near 400 West 58th Street North about 3:30 a.m. Thursday.
Firefighters tried to extinguish the flames, but they had to back out of the structure when it became obvious that the house could not be saved.
We're told that the two people who lived in the house were educators who were away from home during the spring break.
The state fire marshal was called to investigate at the scene because the house was just a short distance from the Tulsa city limits.
