PANAMA CITY, Fl - Deputies say the frantic call came in after neighbors heard screams from a house. Inside, three people claimed they had been held against their will and even shot at.
When law enforcement arrived at the home, they found something quite different.
While high on meth, the three suffered hallucinations and thought they were being attacked.
WMBB reports Madison Douglas, Damian Hines, and Matthew McDaniel shot holes in the walks and “completely removed a large rear window from the house on the second floor and threw the bathroom sink at the imaginary attackers.”
The station says overall, “more than $10,000 damage was done to the residence.”
All three are safe now, inside a cozy jail cell waiting to face charges of attempt to manufacture meth, possession of meth, felony criminal mischief, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
