The Guinness Book of World Records lists the feat as the “most tattoos of the same cartoon character tattooed on the body." The happy owner of that new mark is New Zealand’s Lee Weir.
Weir has a “sleeve” of 41 Homer Simpson tattoos on one arm.
The Daily Mirror reports there’s Homer as The Hulk, Homer as an elephant, clown Homer, robot Homer, etc.
Lee told the paper he was inspired to get the ink by his father.
Weir said his dad, a "real-life Ned Flanders," didn’t allow him to watch the show when he was a boy.
All that art work wasn’t cheap but Lee had a simple solution for being able to afford it.
He told Guinness he gave up alcohol for about a year.
The takeaway from that is, he made all those decisions while sober!
