Theft suspects land in a hospital

BROKEN ARROW, Okla. — Police were called to a Broken Arrow home, near 61st and Lynn Lane, Thursday morning shortly after 9:00.

The homeowner told 911 dispatchers that they spotted a woman leaving the house after a possible burglary.

Officers spotted the car and tried to pull it over.

The driver ended up crashing into another house near Kenosha and Kenwood while running from police.

Police say the driver, 34-year-old Dustin Yahola, was ejected from the car and taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The passenger, identified as 40-year-old Jennifer Brown, was also transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The homeowner was inside with her pet, but neither were injured.
