The work was supposed to last through Monday morning at 6am, but ODOT sent the following release Sunday morning;
“The removal of the eastbound SH-266 at the US-169 junction is completing ahead of schedule. By 11 a.m., US-169 traffic will switch from the ramps back to the mainline, and traffic will reopen on SH-266. However, several lane closures will remain in the corridor, and drivers should be alert to these changes.”
Some of those changes are;
“East and west bound SH-266 traffic will shift to the west bound bridge and narrow to one lane in each direction until further notice. The left lane of north and southbound US-169 will be closed at the SH-266 junction through mid-March. Significant delays can be expected in this corridor, especially during peak travel times.”
“The cloverleaf ramps at the US-169/SH-266 junction will be closed. Drivers on SH-266 will still have access to US-169 via left turns onto other ramps at this interchange.”
