High-speed crash kills Talala woman

A Talala woman died Monday in a one-car crash in Rogers County.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol tells us 33-year old Kimberly Deason died just before 3 p.m. when she failed to stop her 2001 Saturn sedan on East-West 32 at its T-intersection with North-South 412 and continued eastbound onto a private  drive where she struck a tree.

We're told Deason was speeding at the time of the crash and was not wearing a seltbelt.

She died at the scene from massive injuries.

There were no passengers in the car.
