Hearing set for man co-accused of quadruple homicide

TULSA, Okla. —

One of two brothers accused in the shooting deaths of four women at a run-down Tulsa apartment complex in January is due in district court.

Cedric Poore is to appear for arraignment Friday morning on first-degree murder charges. His brother James was arraigned last week and has a preliminary hearing scheduled for April.

James Poore has pleaded not guilty.

The brothers are charged in the Jan. 7 deaths of 23-year-old twins Rebeika Powell and Kayetie Melchor, 33-year-old Misty Nunley and 55-year-old Julie Jackson.

A judge last week postponed Cedric Poore's arraignment until Friday because an attorney had yet to be appointed for him. No plea for Cedric Poore has been entered.

Police have said the brothers lived in the same apartment complex as their four victims.
