Hankering for quiche leads to five hour police standoff

The food fiends were hungry so they broke into a café and helped themselves to all the quiche they wanted.
But when a couple of officers noticed a break-in they called for backup and soon as many as 15 police cars ringed the business.
But the now satisfied pie poachers decided they would just stay inside.
The Guardian reports they grabbed kitchen knives, yelled threats at the officers and a “standoff” began.
Cops in Berwick-upon-Tweed, England waited five hours before the 20 and 21 year old men gave up and were charged with suspicion of aggravated burglary.
Angela Marshall runs the café, she shrugged her shoulders and said "apparently they were hungry and wanted some quiche. There was a little bit of money in the till, but I think they just wanted food and then it got out of hand."
