The Japanese branch of Haagen-Dazs is working on two new flavors as part of the new “Spoon Vege” series.
The vegetable flavors will go on sale mid-May.
Their Facebook fans seem to like the idea.
According to a press release by Haagen-Dazs Japan and translated by Rocket News, the new flavors are "Tomato Cherry" and "Carrot Orange."
Each carton of ice cream has about 8.5% milk fat, roughly half the fat of a carton of non-veggie Haagen-Dazs.
The company hasn't said if it will ever try to sell the new flavors in the United States.
Americans do get to enjoy Green Tea and Bourbon Pecan Praline flavors.
