Grocery store burglary suspect captured

Tulsa police captured a burglary suspect who walked directly to an officer after the crime.

Tulsa Police Sergeant Chris Moudy tells us he was on surveillance about 1:15 a.m. Friday when he spotted a man acting suspiciously near 11th and Garnett.

"I could see him crawling on his hands and knees out of a freshly-broken window and he had loot in his hands and he basically ran right to me," Moudy said.

We're told 24-year old Robert Conklin had broken into the Las Americas store where he took some donation boxes containing money.
Moudy said Conklin's hands were bloody from breaking the glass to enter the store.
