Great grandfather drives drunk with toddler

For the fourth time during his adult life, a Tulsa man was arrested for driving while intoxicated.

Police say Alvin Nevels was stopped on Thursday near 11th and Memorial, after an officer spotted him swerving in between lanes.

This time, Nevels had his great grandson in his car as well.  The toddler was in the backseat and was unrestrained.

Police say Nevels stated multiple times he wasn't drunk.  He admitted to only drinking two beers before driving.

His breathalyzer test said otherwise and Nevels was taken to the Tulsa County Jail.

The toddler was picked up at the scene by an uncle.
