Goats head left for Cubs owner at Wrigley Field

The goats head without a note was delivered to Cubs owner Tom Ricketts this week.

The package was left near gate K at Wrigley Field.

Cubs fans have long thought they were cursed and one look at the championship drought would support that opinion.

But how the goat plays into it is a big part of history as well.

During a playoff game in 1945 a man with a goat was forced told to leave Wrigley Field. The Cubs haven’t won or been back to the World Series since that fateful day.

Chicago cops told ESPN they were “investigating it as an intimidating package."

The head may be considered a curse killer or it may have more to do with a spat going on based on planned renovations at Wrigley.

The team is negotiating with area residents over the changes and the plan to play more night games.
