TULSA - According to national gasoline price watchdog GasBuddy, the price for a gallon of gasoline in the Tulsa area will increase, perhaps as soon as Monday.
GasBuddy analysts predict a hike of about 10 cents a gallon, from the current average of $2.78 to about $2.89 a gallon.
They say it will likely happen by the end of the day Tuesday, and put the probability of the hike at 78%.
A texter sent a message to KRMG Monday morning saying prices at a QuikTrip there had done exactly that -- gone from $2.78 to $2.89.
Just before noon, KRMG Asst. Program Director Shelby Travis saw prices up to $2.89 at the QuikTrip located at E. 91st St. and S. Yale Ave.
