Tulsa, Okla. - Gasoline prices are continuing to drop steadily in Tulsa, after a refinery glitch caused them to skyrocket to abnormally high levels late last month.
Today, the average price in Tulsa was around $3.24 a gallon, and some stations were as low as $3.14.
That's a drop of 17 cents from just last week and down from $3.73 per gallon on May 29th.
While drivers were glad, one woman still sounded pessimistic about the lower prices.
"Good but I'm not counting on it staying that way," she said.
Another woman though sees it as nothing but positive.
"I travel for my job so it's great news."
Ten states still have prices lower than the Oklahoma statewide average.
South Carolina has the cheapest gasoline in the nation on average.
The average price of gasoline in Tulsa right now is almost identical to what it was on this date last year, when it was $3.26 per gallon.
