A 92-year-old woman stabbed to death during a crime spree in Missouri will go to her final resting place Saturday.
Carmelita Kaser had several family members in Tulsa, including children and grandchildren, who tell KRMG she was a special woman with a deep faith and long life of service.
"She's nothing but the perfect grandmother. They just don't make women like they used to," one grandson told KRMG.
He said she was a nurse, and a devout Christian who continued to volunteer almost daily right up to the end.
"As long as she could drive, and talk, and see, and walk -- she was doing God's work." he said.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Pathway Memorial Funeral Home in Moberly with burial to be in the Greensburg Cemetery in nearby Greensburg.
Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
The family asks memorials be sent to Timber Lake Christian Church.
