TULSA - Four people died in what detectives think was a murder suicide late Monday in east Tulsa.
Two adults and two children were found shot to death at the Bradford Townhouses near 2100 South 109th East Avenue about 12:30 a.m. Tuesday.
Det. Sgt. Dave Walker told KRMG at the scene that neighbors heard noises about 9:00 p.m. but thought it was balloons popping and didn't call police.
Roommates who lived in the apartment discovered the bodies, and ran to get neighbors to call 911.
Det. Walker said the adult male involved lived in the apartment, and the woman and three young children had come over to visit.
The man appears to have shot and killed the two older children, ages around three or four, then the woman, then himself.
A young girl, about two years old, was uninjured; police said they had found possible relatives and were taking her to stay with them.
A weapon was recovered at the scene.
Police have not released the names of any of the people involved.
They said the couple appeared to be in their twenties.
The shooter and the victims were all Hispanic.
