Former Oklahoma school teacher turns himself in Friday

Updating a story about a former Commerce school teacher accused of having a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old student.

Ottawa County Jail officials say Thomas Fenderson turned himself in yesterday.

He failed to show up to court on Thursday.  Commerce police searched his place in Miami, but he wasn't located.

Fenderson faces a rape count.  No word on his next court date.

He resigned from his job at the school back on May 15.
