It's common knowledge you can't bring loaded firearms into airports.
Still, the Transportation Security Administration tells Newsok.com, two loaded firearms have been found this week.
The first loaded firearm was found Monday afternoon at Tulsa International Airport. TSA states the second one was found Tuesday morning at Will Rogers World Airport.
No word of any arrests or where at the airport the loaded firearms were found.
“Firearms and ammunition, along with firearm parts and realistic replicas, are always prohibited at the TSA security checkpoint,” TSA said.
So far this year, 14 firearms have been found at the OKC airport, and 10 in Tulsa. If you're caught with a loaded firearm at the airport, you can face arrest or up to a $11,000 fine.
