TULSA - A fire at a home in northeast Tulsa turned deadly early Sunday morning, killing one person and sending a second to the hospital.
The call came in about 3:00 a.m. and firefighters arrived at the home in the 10500 block of E. 4th St. to find a large amount of fire in the kitchen area.
One person got out uninjured, another was transported with burn injuries.
Firefighters found the third person inside a closet, he died on the scene.
TFD Capt. Stan May tells KRMG it appears the fire started in the kitchen area, and appears to have been accidental.
They have not released in names of the people involved.
Capt. May said all three people inside the home were adults.
