Female inmate found dead in her cell

A woman in custody for DUI drugs, is found dead in her cell Saturday morning at the Garfield County Detention Facility.

Jail officials say 26-year-old Jordan Thompson was found unresponsive around 4:30 a.m.

She wasn't in jail for very long.

Enid police arrested her Friday evening during a traffic stop.

In addition to DUI drugs, Thompson was facing counts of driving without insurance and child endangerment.

Her body will be taken to the Medical Examiner's office to determine a cause of death.
