Felon gets busted trying to sell meth

A felon is back behind bars.

Tulsa police say Keenan Lamirand was busted for trying to sell 1/2 pound of meth on Wednesday.

The incident happened around 6:15 p.m. near 21st and Garnett.

Officers were tipped off about the drug deal by an informant.  Police say they followed the informant to the drug deal and once it was done, Lamirand was taken into custody.

While the suspect was in cuffs, officers searched his vehicle and found a handgun.

Lamirand was taken to the Tulsa County Jail.

He faces counts of conspiracy to traffic meth and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
