TULSA - Tulsa police say a man shot and killed his adult son during a domestic dispute in east Tulsa Saturday afternoon.
It happened near E. 31st St. and 129th E. Ave. about 2:45 p.m., according to Tulsa Police Capt. Rick Helberg.
Capt. Helberg said that the son, David Knight, Jr., 32, was visiting his father, David Knight, Sr., 65.
The call came in to 911 from the victim, who told the calltaker his father had shot him.
At some point, Capt. Helberg told KRMG, the victim could not continue and his father picked up the cell phone as the operator instructed him how to perform CPR on his son.
However, EMSA arrived to find the younger man dead of a gunshot wound.
Police have responded to the residence previously on domestic disputes, and at one point the father had a protective order against his son, but it had been dropped.
It is Tulsa's 21st homicide of 2013.
