EXTREME WEATHER ALERT: Tornado watch issued for all of Green Country; severe weather expected

At 2:15 P.M., the National Weather Service issued a tornado watch covering all of northeast Oklahoma until 11 P.M. Sunday.

Very large hail, damaging winds and tornadoes are possible.

As a precaution, organizers of MayFest and the Blue Dome Arts Festival made the decision to close both festivals 2 hours early due to the impending weather. Both are closing at 4 P.M.
