Execution date set for Tulsa store slaying

An execution date was set on Friday for a man convicted of a 1995 beating death of a Tulsa store manager.

Court of Criminal Appeals scheduled a January 9th execution date for Michael Lee Wilson.

The victim was found tied and beaten in the cooler of his store.  Court records show he had been beaten several times with a baseball bat.

A fourth suspect, Richard Harjo, was sentenced to life in prison.  Two of Wilson's co-defendants have already been executed in connection with the death.
