Evangelist says only asteroid can "fulfill the prophetic words of Jesus Christ"

The pastor surprised many by saying, “I don’t see anything else that fulfills the prophetic words of Jesus Christ other than an asteroid strike.”

Televangelist Pat Robertson went on to explain further.

“There isn’t anything that will cause the seas to roil, that will cause the skies to darken, the moon and the sun not to give their light, the nations terrified on earth of what’s happening. There isn’t anything that’s going to do that.”

Robertson made the announcement while promoting his book "The End of the Age," on his 700 Club show.

“It could be next week. It could be 1,000 years from now,” he commented.

Robertson told his audience, he was bringing them the message, so they would “be ready whenever the Lord says, “I’m wrapping it up, and it’s time to come home.’”
