Eugene Field Elementary locked down

The lock down has been lifted for Eugene Field Elementary near W. 23^rd St. and Southwest Boulevard.

Police tell KRMG the school was placed on lock down as a precaution at 8:44 Friday morning after a shooting nearby.

Someone was shot and taken to the hospital.

Officers are still searching for a suspect.

A spokeswoman with Tulsa Public Schools says the lock down was lifted at around 9:20.
