Eight apartments catch fire in south Tulsa

Firefighters are finished putting out a fire at the Balboa Apartments at 47th and Fulton.

The fire destroyed 8 apartments in one 16-unit building this morning at around 4 AM.

The fire did an estimated 5-hundred-thousand dollars in damage.

No one was hurt.

One firefighter was taken to the hospital after some debris fell on him.

He is said to be doing fine.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
