One Oklahoma group wants to give individual cities the right to create anti-smoking laws.
The group met in Tulsa Tuesday after state lawmakers tossed out a measure that would have been used to stamp out smoking at work.
"Everybody no matter where they work has the right to a smoke-free environment and then for the health of the city it will dramatically improve as well," said Paula Warlick with Smoke-Free Oklahoma.
She also told the News On 6 that they would need 83,000 signatures on a petition to get the proposal on the ballot next year.
